
General Ledger Supervisor Finance Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
· Responsible for US GAAP accounts preparation and month end close
· Internal & External Audits
· Ensure compliance with statutory and fiscal requirements
· Ensuring the integrity of internal financial controls.
· Manage the EAM General Ledger team
· Liaison between FSSO team, local management and FP&A team
· Provide support to facilitate credit and collection activities.
· Projects & Other Responsibilities
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
- Qualified Financial Accountant
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the European Region working within a Multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax.
- Experience in the preparation of annual statutory statements and tax/Vat returns.
- Knowledge of US GAAP with experience of managing a close process.
- Previous experience of managing and leading a team
- Experience of management of international projects / assignments.
- Previous Shared Service Centre experience an advantage
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Work with local and international teams
- Knowledge of SAP desirable
- Microsoft word and excel skills to an advanced level
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong written and spoken English is essential
- Foreign language an advantage.
- Good analytical skills
- Proactive Nature
- Available to travel throughout the Region if required.
